On July 17, 2011, the Quick Stop located at 1404 North Ridge Avenue was robbed by a B/M who removed money from the cash drawer while it was open. On July 18, 2011, the Rushco located a 2595 North Cannon Blvd and had a B/M enter the store and remove money from the cash drawer while it was open. The investigation into both robberies revealed that the same person committed both robberies. Warrants for Common Law Robbery have been obtained for a John Anthony Blackmon.

Midland Break-ins: Information Needed

The Criminal Investigation Division has been developing leads in these cases, but more information is needed. After releasing his picture and the information to the public, Wade felt pressured to turn himself in. He was taken into custody without incident at the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, January 19, 2012 and is being held under a $25,000 bond.

Rayvon Wade, a registered sex offender, is wanted by the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office a violation of the Sex Offender Law -for Failure to Notify of Address Change and Providing False Registration Information. His last known address was 145 Corban Ave SE in Concord, NC, but an investigation found that he has been staying in the Westgreen Apts. off Rainbow Drive in Kannapolis, NC as recently as the first week in December. He indicated to family members that he was moving to Pageland SC. Authorities in Pageland have been notified of this information. Wade was convicted of Attempted Rape in 1997.

Kannapolis Circle K Robbery Suspects Wanted – ARRESTS Made

On November 12, 2011 at approximately 6:00 pm a robbery occurred at the Circle K located at 4930 Davidson Highway in Kannapolis, NC. According to the victim, two unknown subjects assaulted her as she was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot. During the assault one of the suspect’s took an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim. After the robbery the suspects fled the scene in a white Honda. The victim could only describe the suspects as being males of Hispanic origin.
