The Concord Police Department Need Your Help!

The Concord Police Department is asking for assistance identifying a suspect that broke into and vandalized 42 vehicles in the Brown Mill/Silver Hill Communities. The suspect is described as a tall slender white male in his early 20′s with longer blonde hair. The suspect was also seen riding a burgundy colored bicycle with yellow hand grips.

Warrant for Arrest on Cierra Roseboro

On 4/13/15 at approximately 10:39 PM, officers from the Kannapolis Police Department responded to the parking lot in front of 499 Cabarrus Arms Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Samuel Smith sitting in the driver’s seat of a white Chevrolet with multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Smith was initially transported to CMC Northeast and then to CMC Main where he is still receiving care for his injuries.

Witnesses stated they observed a black Ford Crown Victoria pull up next to the vehicle Mr. Smith was sitting in. An unknown black male exited the Crown Victoria and then fired multiple shots at Mr. Smith. The unknown male got back into the vehicle and left the area with Cierra Roseboro who is pictured below.

Based on information obtained during this investigation, a warrant for arrest was obtained on Cierra Roseboro for Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. The alleged shooter who has yet to be identified remains at large.

Breakin at Foxfire Lanes

A property owner of Foxfire Lanes discovered the business was broken into upon arriving for work on the morning of March 30, 2015. In reviewing the business’s video surveillance footage, it was discovered the break-in occurred around 5 AM and the suspect appears to be a heavy set W/M. Several of the coin operated machines inside the business were broken into and the suspect attempted to gain entry into the ATM but was unsuccessful. The estimated value of the items removed from the business is $1,500.00. The suspect is believed to have left the area in a light colored mid-sized vehicle.

Warrants for arrest Lamar Reshard Carson

Warrants for arrest were obtained on a Lamar Reshard Carson for Felony Breaking & Entering, Larceny after Breaking & Entering and Possession of Firearm by felon. The pending charges against Mr. Carson are for his involvement with an incident that occurred on January 23, 2015 in the City of Kannapolis.

Mr. Carson is 22 years of age and is described as being 5’7″ in height, weighting approximately 145 lbs and has dread locks. The last known address for Mr. Carson was 1101 Poole Place NW in Concord, NC

Armed Robbery at the Rushco convenience store

On January 29, 2015, an armed robbery occurred at the Rushco convenience store located at 604 North Cannon Boulevard in Kannapolis. The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, approximately 5’6- 5’9 in height and of a slim build. The suspect was wearing black Adidas pants, a black hooded sweat shirt, and a green baseball cap with a straight white brim. The suspect also had a blue and white striped bandanna covering his face. The suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk, stole cash, and left on foot.

Credit Card Thief Dec. 29 2014

Can you identify this suspected credit card thief?
During the early morning hours of Dec. 29th, an unknown subject broke into a vehicle just off of Lake Concord Rd and stole a credit card among other items. The subject in the ATM picture attempted to use the card at the QT located at the Cloverleaf Plaza shortly after 7:00 am that morning. Someone also attempted use the card at the Rugged Wearhouse also at the Cloverleaf Plaza between 6:30 and 7:00 am. If you have information about this crime or know the identity of this suspect, you are urged to contact Crime Stoppers where you can qualify for a reward of up to $1,000 if your information leads to an arrest. Arson Investigation in Concord

The Concord Police Department is investigating an arson that occurred on December 13, 2014 at McGee Park (219 Corban Ave). Unknown suspects set several pieces of playground equipment of fire. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.

ARMED ROBBERY INVESTIGATION – November 18, 2014

ARMED ROBBERY INVESTIGATION

On November 18, 2014 at approximately 8:41 pm, the Kannapolis Police Department responded to the Home Towne Suites located at 3200 Cloverleaf Parkway in reference to an armed robbery. According to the clerk, the suspect entered the front lobby of the business, jumped over the counter, displayed a dark colored hand gun and demanded money. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect removed the entire cash drawer from the register and ran from the business. The clerk was unharmed during the robbery.

The clerk described the suspect as being a black male, approximately 5”9” in height, wearing a gray sweat shirt, jeans and light colored tennis shoes. The suspect also was wearing a large light brown wig in an attempt to conceal his identity. The clerk was unable to provide a mode or direction of travel of the suspect after he left the business. We are currently working with the management of the business in obtaining the surveillance footage of the robbery. The two attached still shots of the suspect were obtained from the surveillance footage.
