These are 2 still shots of a suspect in some vehicle break – ins that we had occur in our county overnight Wednesday.
As crime prevention specialists, those of us in law enforcement are always telling people NOT to leave valuables in their vehicles in plain sight. People like this guy are the reason why. He spends over 60 seconds shining his flashlight into both of these vehicles before moving on because he apparently couldn’t see anything in there worth taking.
These are pictures of the same suspect that is also being posted.
Our purpose in posting these pictures and video are two-fold. 1) to try to get him identified and 2) to remind people once again to put their belongings in the trunk or take them in the house.

Bobby Gene Beaver, Jr is wanted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for felony warrants of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault by Strangulation, and False Imprisonment. Beaver’s last known address is on Albemarle Road near the Cabarrus County line. Earlier today (7/10/2014), he fled from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and was suspected of being in the 10700 block of US Hwy 601 in Midland, NC at around 5:15 pm.
Beaver is a 37 year old white male who stands around 6 foot 5 inches tall and has multiple tattoos on his neck. If you know Beaver’s current location please call 911 immediately or if you have information that may lead to his arrest, contact the Charlotte Mecklenburg Crimestoppers at 704-334-1600.
The Concord Police Department is currently seeking information to the location of Scotty Theodore Newton. This person currently has 19 warrants for his arrest for crimes relating to Breaking and Entering and larceny. He is possibly staying in hotels around the Charlotte/Concord area. The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is currently trying to locate Stanford Ray Howard, who has an active warrant out for his arrest. Mr. Howard is a registered sex offender in Cabarrus County due to a 2002 conviction of 1st Degree Attempted Rape. Mr. Howard failed to notify the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office of an address change after being released from North Carolina Department of Corrections on 6/26/2014. Stanford Howard is a 36 year old B/M, about 6’ in height and around 200 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Mr. Howard is believed to be in the Concord / Kannapolis area.

Sometime on June25, 2014, someone caused significant property damage to heavy equipment belonging to Propst Brothers Construction in Midland. This happened in the area of Cabarrus Acres, specifically Sterling Circle, Peppercorn Ln, Crystal Dr. Propst Brothers have been contracted by the Town of Midland to install sewer lines in the area.

The Concord Police Department is asking for assistance in locating this stolen 1970 Dodge Challenger. The car was stolen during the early morning hours of June 9, 2014 from an address off of Eva Dr. in Concord. The car has: 472 cubic inch Hemi, (2) 4 barrel Holley Carburetors, and TKO 600 5 speed transmission. 472 Hemi custom made badges. Handmade 3 inch stainless steel exhaust. Lime Green Interior upholstery accents and Carbon Fiber panel accents.

The Kannapolis Police Department is seeking information regarding an unsolved murder. On December 5, 1994, members of the Kannapolis Police Department responded to 1006 North Ridge Avenue. After arriving on scene, officers found Marelle Benton inside the residence deceased. Mr. Benton’s death was ruled a homicide.

On 5/1/2014 around 4:00 in the afternoon, the man in this photo attempted to cash a forged check drawn on a commercial account at the Bank of the Carolinas in Harrisburg.

Mr. Wallace is a registered sex offender in Cabarrus County due to an out-of-state conviction in New Jersey. Mr. Wallace failed to notify the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office of an address change after moving from 602 State Ave. in Kannapolis. Steven Wallace is a 37 year old black male, about 5’5” in height and about 170 lbs. Mr. Wallace is believed to be in the Kannapolis area.
