After releasing his picture and the information to the public, Wade felt pressured to turn himself in. He was taken into custody without incident at the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, January 19, 2012 and is being held under a $25,000 bond.

Rayvon Wade, a registered sex offender, is wanted by the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office a violation of the Sex Offender Law -for Failure to Notify of Address Change and Providing False Registration Information. His last known address was 145 Corban Ave SE in Concord, NC, but an investigation found that he has been staying in the Westgreen Apts. off Rainbow Drive in Kannapolis, NC as recently as the first week in December. He indicated to family members that he was moving to Pageland SC. Authorities in Pageland have been notified of this information. Wade was convicted of Attempted Rape in 1997.
