He appears to be a dark haired male wearing a light colored hat and a blue plaid shirt. On September 13, 2014, at approximately 6:17 am, a common law robbery took place at the Little Buck’s convenience store located at 717 N. Cannon Blvd in Kannapolis. The female clerk was restrained in headlock by the suspect and currency was removed from a cash box. The suspect ran from the store and was last seen running south. The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary case that occurred yesterday (9/11/14) in the 7600 block of Mt Olive Road in Mt Pleasant, NC between the hours of 8:15 am and 3:00 pm. A stolen credit card from the home was used to purchase jewelry items at Wal-Mart in Salisbury, NC yesterday at around 4:15 pm.
The white male pictured is a person of interest in the case. He is a white male, approximately 30-35 years of age, with dark hair and a mustache. He walks with a distinctive limp and is wearing tan ball cap, a long sleeved white shirt, jeans, and flip flops. Video of the suspect will be made available shortly.

The Kannapolis Police Department is seeking information regarding an unsolved murder. On May 27, 2010, members of the Kannapolis Police Department responded to a home invasion at 632 Barlow Avenue. After arriving at the residence, officers discovered that a Charles Edwards had been shot. Mr. Edwards died soon after due to his injuries.

Mr. Richardson is a registered sex offender in Cabarrus County due to 1996 conviction of 2nd Degree Rape in Mecklenburg County. Mr. Richardson failed to notify the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office of an address change after moving from his last location in Concord. Mr. Richardson is a 45 year old B/M, 5’9” in height and about 160 lbs. He is last known to be bald and has brown eyes. Mr. Richardson is believed to be in the Charlotte area. These are 2 still shots of a suspect in some vehicle break – ins that we had occur in our county overnight Wednesday.
As crime prevention specialists, those of us in law enforcement are always telling people NOT to leave valuables in their vehicles in plain sight. People like this guy are the reason why. He spends over 60 seconds shining his flashlight into both of these vehicles before moving on because he apparently couldn’t see anything in there worth taking.

Our purpose in posting these pictures and video are two-fold. 1) to try to get him identified and 2) to remind people once again to put their belongings in the trunk or take them in the house.

Amira Nasirilden, 16 years old, was last seen around midnight at 1459 Tygress Drive in Kannapolis on July 17, 2014. She is described as being 5’08”, 150 lbs, short black hair, brown eyes and having a medium build. The investigation has revealed that Amira may have ties to individuals living in the cities of Concord and Charlotte. All attempts to locate her have been unsuccessful to this point.

Bobby Gene Beaver, Jr is wanted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department for felony warrants of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault by Strangulation, and False Imprisonment. Beaver’s last known address is on Albemarle Road near the Cabarrus County line. Earlier today (7/10/2014), he fled from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and was suspected of being in the 10700 block of US Hwy 601 in Midland, NC at around 5:15 pm.

The Concord Police Department is currently seeking information to the location of Scotty Theodore Newton. This person currently has 19 warrants for his arrest for crimes relating to Breaking and Entering and larceny. He is possibly staying in hotels around the Charlotte/Concord area. Stanford Howard is a 36 year old B/M, about 6’ in height and around 200 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Mr. Howard is believed to be in the Concord / Kannapolis area.
